When you press the 窶彝un窶 button in the toolbar, or choose 窶彝un simulation窶ｦ窶 in the 窶廴odel窶 menu, DynRisk displays a dialog box asking you to specify under which filename to save the simulation results. The simulation starts as soon as you press 窶廾K窶.
Note that DynRisk allows you to choose one of two different calculation modes:
窶｢ Background calculations
窶｢ Foreground calculations
By using the background calculation mode, you can perform other tasks while the simulation runs. The cost of this flexibility, however, is a decrease in the simulation speed.
The current calculation mode is controlled by using the 窶廴isc. options窶ｦ窶 command in the 窶弃references窶 submenu of the 窶廡ile窶 menu.
You may temporarily reverse the calculation mode for the upcoming simulation by pressing the 窶彜hift窶 key while clicking on 窶彝un窶 button.
